The Sex ratio recorded in the national level (more males than females) was reflected in each Province as illustrated in Fugure 3.
Males outnumbered females in all Provinces with the National Capital District (NCD) recording the highest sex ratio of 121 males for every 100 females.
West New Britain (WNB) and New Ireland Provinces (NIP) both recorded high sex ratios at 116 and 114 respectively.
The sex ratio in all other Provinces varied between 100.5 (ESP) and 111 (ENB).
