Jutting into the aqua blue Solomon Sea at the tip of Cape Nelson and only an hours flight from Port Moresby, Tufi Dive Resort is destined to become Papua New Guinea's most popular dive destination.

With underwater visibility constantly over 30 metres, diving at Tufi is a remarkable experience. Deep channel fjords cutting into the landscape protect fabulous labyrinths of fan and shelf coral, while the surrounding reefs are ablaze with colourful coral and tropical marine life including reef fish, tuna, manta rays, trevally, sharks and mackerel.

Most dive sites are less than 30 minutes away and easily accessible in the resort's two fast dive boats complete with all necessary safety gear. The fully equipped dive shop and dedicated diving operation are supervised by the resident PADI open water instructor and an experienced team of divemasters to ensure the highest level of professionalism, guidance and safety. A full range of scuba diving courses from introductory diving instruction in the resort pool through to divemaster certificate are also available.

Tufi has plenty of activities for the non-diver. There are trips to adjacent villages. Become part of their world for a few hours and partake of a rich mumu supper.

With activities such as overnight dugout canoe trips, evening barbecues on the picturesque verandah jutting into the bay, trekking in virgin bush to observe magnificent bird life and PNG's wild orchids, game fishing, wind-surfing, swimming or simple lazing about on fabulous beaches, the resort has something to suit every mood.

Recently renovated and refurbished, the resort also offers excellent accommodation in a traditional guest house setting with choice of bungalows, family rooms and bunk rooms surrounded by tropical greenery and magnificent views of the fjords ocean.

Meal times are delectable delight with a lavish array of local seafood such as crayfish, red emperor, mackerel and fresh oysters served with the freshest vegetables and mouth-watering tropical fruit.
