With its magnificent beach front location on Talili Bay and views to Rabaul's volcanoes, Kulau Lodge Beach Resort is located only 12 minutes drive from Rabaul along the beautiful North Coast Road.
Accommodation comprises deluxe two-bedroom apartments, with full facilities including kitchens and laundries, plus one-bedroom serviced beach cottages. Both the apartments and the beach cottages have colour TV and telephones.
The resort also has a licensed, à la carte restaurant and there are regular cultural performances.
To take full advantages of the water-front location, there are windsurfers, aqua bikes and ski boats. Fishing trips are a major attraction as is the diving, for which there is a full NAUI scuba diving facility on site with equipment rental.

MV "Manta" is Papua New Guinea's most comfortable day diving vessel. It is a twin-engine 50-foot custom-built dive cruiser, catering for a maximum of 10 divers. Fully equipped, it has three freshwater showers and a domestic toilet. Complimentary snacks are served after diving. It offers three dives each day, seven days a week.
The diving is simply outstanding. The variety of diving is exceptional with shipwrecks, aeroplane wrecks, coral gardens, drop offs, fish dives, drift dives and sharks dives. Rabaul has it all.
Lunch is served alfresco style on the back deck, the culinary emphasis is on sea food and local cuisine. With a reputation for making divers happy, personal service is our hallmark.
