Located 7,000 feet above sea level in the Tari Gap area of the Southern Highlands, Ambua Lodge offers expansive views across the Tari Vally, home to the flamboyant Huli Wigmen. The lodge is surrounded by sub-montane rainforest, walking trails, waterfalls, orchids and is habitat to ten species of Birds of Paradise. Built in the traditional Highlands architectural style, the lodge has wide picture windows and luxurious surrounding.

Located at an altitude of 5,700 feet on the banks of the Mendi River on the outskirts of Mendi, the capital of the Southern Highlands Province. This deluxe lodge is designed in the local highlands architectural style and built largely from traditional materials. The central lodge overlooks the river.
FACILITIES
12 self-contained units all with river views, television, telephone, refrigerator, tea and coffee making facilities plus 8 budget rooms with shared bathroom facilities. The central lodge houses the reception area, lounge, dining room and a conference room. A wide range of activities can be organised by the lodge including cultural tours, mountain climbing, expeditions and flora and fauna expeditions.
