PricewaterhouseCoopers - Walk For Life - Corporate Challenge
The PricewaterhouseCoopers 2002 Walk for Life Corporate Challenge was a huge success today and many people turned out for the event.
First three place getters all went to men from Papua New Guinea, well done guys, excellent effort ! And the winners are : David Reuben who took out the honours in a time of 16:47 Second runner to complete the course was Russel Aso in a time of 16:56 Third was Simon Pinampio in a time of 17:06 First Team that completed the course went to Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu in a time of 29:45 Second Team to complete the course was last years winners, Blake Dawson Waldron in a time of 31:24 Third placegetters was the team from Air Niugini who clocked in at 36:19 Pictured here are the 1st, 2nd and 3rd placegetters. David informed me later in the morning, that he is about to go down to the Gold Coast in July, 2003 and compete in the Gold Coast Marathon. |

First female to finish was Jenny Sinclair (DGS Partner with Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu) in a time of 21:53, well done Jenny !

POSF Team members seen here warming up. Some mudmen can be seen in the background who walked most of the way with their extra heads on ! If anyone has ever had the pleasure of fitting one of these on their own heads, you will appreciate their efforts today. They are really quite heavy as well, so even to carry them that distance is quite a feat !
With the exception of one mudman, the four others were also all over 50 years of age or as they say here in Papua New Guinea 'Lapun' ! ![]() |
