The National Capital District Commission (NCDC) will be having an open meeting tomorr
The National Capital District Commission (NCDC) are having an open meeting today (20/08/03) with some members of the National Parliament (MP), Settlement leaders, Motu Koitabu Leaders, the Public and Private Sector, to discuss issues regarding Law and Order in the National Capital District.
In a notice served to infom the general public, the NCDC Board and Management of NCDC higlighted that they recognised the importance of addressing these problems and resolving them through open dialogue in order to derive strategies for long term solutions.
Most of the issues arising that will be discussed are related to past and recent incidents that have occurred at various locations around NCD.
Apart from MPs, Settlement and Motu Koitabuan leaders and the private sector, the public or anybody who wishes to contribute ideas towards helping the government and NCDC find solutions towards Law and Order problems in the National Capital District is welcome to attend.
Other issues pertaining to NCDC operations may be discussed if time permits.
The meeting is taking place at the Sir John Guise Stadium, Indoor Complex and started around 9.00am.
