Mr Wiseman, and expatriate pilot from Cairns in Australia has been working in the country for more than 20 years. We acknowleged his services to PNG through the Airlines of PNG.

We offer our prayers for the souls of Phil and Rachel that they may rest in peace. We also offer our sympathy and prayers for their families and friends that God may give them comfort and strenght during this time.

MAY THEIR SOULS REST IN PEACE.
Philip with family.....

Truely a sad story and a great loss...

Familiar faces at the airport...I see them on passing, them going about on their daily duties...or even sometimes around the city...and we know this faces well as PNG Airline pilots...I've also travelled on flights Captained by Mr Wiseman..and about one where First Officer Rachel Kaltia was on...so its really no surprise when people (ordinary Papua New Guineans) upon hearing/reading their names are confused at first but when the faces of the pilots were published in the paper...the common reaction was one of recognition...we are saddened by your deaths

Tenkyou turu lo service blo yupla lo ol pipol blo Papua New Guinea
and may your souls rest in eternal peace...

Goodbye...

PNG continues to be a country that presents challanges to aviation.

I admire the skill and industry of our pilots and support crew.

To lose the experience of Cpt. Wiseman and the future of 1st Off. Kalitia is indeed a tragedy.

Deepest condolenses to family and friends.
