Arriving PNG in January
I'm going to PNG in January 2008 with my wife (well will be married then for only 1 week) for 9 days and have taken a liberal view of planning the trip. I'm on a round the world trip and am looking for advice on a number of things:
1) where to stay when initially arrive 2) a tourist advisory service 3) PNG when a backpacker!! As I am going around the world for 6 months money is something I need to keep an eye on and I am finding the quotes from the PNG operators exhorbitant. Is there another way with local people? Why the bad press- is it that dangerous? Thanks Jay
