Driving along in Gordon's today, the road was blocked by a policeman who simply stopped the vehicle as shown.

When the non police vehicle moved off to make way for our vehicle, instead of driving ahead, they decided to reverse up the whole of the one way street, with the Policeman watching.

One would assume he was going the first way in the first place, hence why he was stopped, but why not make him turn around in a driveway ? :

Yes, been an overcast weekend, but compared to the rest of PNG, rain in our Capital City is welcome anytime coz it turns our grass green and settles the dust:

One of the 'great' things about living in Papua New Guinea, is you NEVER have to fill up your car with fuel....check your oil or water....put air in your tires...lubricants....wash your windscreen...etc.

Why, coz they are friendly staff here that enjoy doing that for us:
