Yes I remember Mrs. Pyeatt, I see her every now and then, usually over the summer, or whenever she travels to CO, to see her grandchildren she stops by to visit.

I am so surprised and excited! I did a random search online for KLS and came upon this page. I wasn't sure how to find anyone who went to KLS - I've done searches for Larissa but I end up on a website in Finnish... I'm Emma and I can't read Finnish, although I do remember Larissa studying it over there. I hope somebody reads this reply soon! I live in Minnesota (U.S) now, am graduating from college this May, am not married yet (congratulations Larissa!), and would love to hear from all of you! Maybe even see you sometime if you live nearby (Nebraska, Kathy?)

Hello everone,

Talk about bringing back old memories!
-climbing the quava trees behind the kitchen
-playing x-bumper with the Stang Gang
-Frau ?Wecke's? bug killing song (I was the bug guy, if you don't remember me), and Frau Wecke use to hate it when I would kill them.
-the old fort underneath the boys dorm
-hiking to a plane crash wreakage site left over from the war
-using red barron dish soap to go sliding down a hill in the rain, totally shreading my shorts
-April fools day jokes (ballons in the guys toilets)

Like Emma, I was just doing a search for KLS when I came across this thread. My name is John Dorshorst (everyone called me Jacob in PNG). My family was in PNG in 91-92, and I lived at KLS for a semester along with my brothers Nate and Ben. Currently I am in school at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I went to KLS for 7th grade in 1979. We were the Hueter family from Madang. Don't know if anyone is from that time period. Hope to hear from someone. I'm in the USA now.

Hiya,

I was there with my sister from 1980 - 1982. I was a day student as I lived in Wau. I didn't know that the school had closed down. Anybody about who went there during those dates? I now live in the UK and have done since 82 when we moved over here.
