Kunai Raun Haus refurbished

ONE eye-catching and unique architecture in Goroka, Eastern Highlands province is the Raun Raun Theatre building situated adjacent to the National Park at the centre of town.Recently called the ‘Kunai Raun Haus’ was built in 1980 mainly with the support from the locals with bush materials. The buidling was specially designed to reflect special traditional features of Eastern Highlands and most of which are still retained today.The Kunai Raun House was officially opened recently by the Minister for Culture and Tourism, Nick Kuman after a major renovation was done to the building.
