Hello

I was wondering if anyone knows whether any of the following activities are available in Port Moresby:

Ballet
Yoga
Choral/Choir Groups (non-religious)

Sorry I do not know of any such activities these days. In the past there was always Ballet organised through the various schools when we lived in Lae.

Here in Port Moresby I have not heard of anything but with no school age children nowadays I may just not be aware.

I know there are gym classes but have not heard of Yoga either.

Re Choir - apart from church groups, once again know of no others.

starwolf, if you can lead a choir group, why not start it? I am sure there will be others who are interested.

I'm sure there is a choral / choir group in Port Moresby.
Maybe if you liase with the Arts Theatre or enquire from the School of Arts you may have more information.

They may also be able to tell you about ballet too.

As for yoga I don't know of any one practicing it so you'll just have to find some inner peace with that one.

Hi,

Thanks so much for the replies. I have found a yoga class. It meets at the Australian High Commission complex in Kone, Wednesday night 5:30-6:30.

I am still on the hunt for a ballet class and will keep trying!
