The Girl Who Never Was:
The Girl Who Never Was was an audio story that featured the Eighth Doctor and Charley in their last adventure together.
Written by Alan Barnes, it was released by Big Finish Productions in December 2007.

Included in the guest cast Danny Webb (Mr Jefferson in the TV episodes The Impossible Planet/The Satan Pit), Anna Massey and Eighth Doctor Paul McGann's son Jake.

Charley has decided to part ways with the Doctor but a mysterious occurrence leads Charley to have one more adventure with the Doctor.
The first episode was pretty good opening episode with a very surprising cliffhanger.

As the Doctor and Charley investigates what is going on in the rest of the story, the Cybermen appear on the scene (as the Cybermen are on the CD cover, their appearance in this story is hardly a surpise).
Although the Cybermen are adequately used in this story they are merely a sideshow. Ultimately the main purpose of this story is to show the great value the Doctor and the Charley has on each other. This story not only presents an end to the Charley’s adventures with the Doctor but also from the standpoint of when this story was released a new beginning as well.

What an intriguing phone call and sight of the new monster.

From the Doctor Who News Page:
The title of 36.4 has now been revealed and it is called The Doctor’s Wife.
The Doctor’s Wife is a name that is familiar to long-time Doctor Who fans as it was used in the 1980s by then producer John Nathan-Turner as a fake title to the Peter Davison swansong Caves of Androzani in order to discover possible leaks in the production office.

Davros Connection:
Included in The Davros Collection DVD set was Davros Connections which was about the stories both on TV and in the Big Finish audio dramas featuring Davros.
Davros Connections was presented as the penultimate disc on the set with the final disc being the Davros audio stories.
As Davros Connections presented in detail all the aforementioned Davros stories including the audio ones, it meant that anyone who had decided to watch The Davros Collection by disc order would have been spoiled on what happened in the audio dramas before they even had the chance to listened to them on the final disc.
It has been said that with the old Doctor Who stories one should not be worried about mentioning plot details as everyone had seen it before a million times. However this argument cannot be applied with the audio stories as not everyone may have listened to them.
