Dracula

Outgoing Doctor Who showrunner Steven Moffat’s first post-Doctor Who project has now been revealed and it is a new TV series of Dracula:
http://www.digitalspy.com/tv/sherloc...ula-tv-series/

The new series of Dracula is created by Moffat and fellow Doctor Who writer Mark Gatiss.
Moffat and Gatiss had previously created Sherlock together which may or may not had its final season earlier this year.
It is expected that the new Dracula series will adopt the same format with Sherlock that of a short season of feature length episodes.

Dracula Rising Episode 1:
Dracula Rising is the prequel companion web series to the NBC 2013 Dracula series.
Intriguing with the battle with the Ottoman and how this involves Dracula.

2013-14 series

The Blood Is The Life:
Series opener.
The beginning of this series of Dracula starred Jonathan Rhys Meyers.
Quite lavish that ball that was thrown by Dracula.
Intriguing when Dracula found Mina to have a strong resemblance to his dead wife Ilona.
Not a bad beginning to the series.

2013-14 series

A Whiff of Sulfur:
Episode 2.
Guest stars Jemma Redgrave in the first of three episodes as Minerva Westenra.
This episode came on November 1 2013, just 22 days before her second appearance as Kate Stewart in Doctor Who: The Day of the Doctor.
Not bad and the one scene that got my attention was when Mina told Dracula about wanting to be doctor when she was a girl but wasn’t taken seriously because of her female gender.
As Dracula says about those naysayers, “So, what.”
Also quite a gamble that Dracula takes on Lady Jayne.

Of Monsters and Men:
Episode 6.
Quite a close call for Mina when she uncovered something and enthralling when she said that she wanted to find a cure for death.
Quite bold that Grayson attend the board meeting in daylight and survived.
That scene with Jonathan and Mina is akin to me and my wife Karen Gillan having sex.

Servant to Two Masters:
Episode 7.
Oh my what an art of seduction that Lady Jayne gave to Lucy.
Things sure became intense when Grayson’s business was on the verge of being shut down.

Last year it was announced that Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss were developing their own Dracula series.
Now it has been reported that the BBC has ordered three 90 minute episodes of this Dracula series and it is a joint venture with Netflix:

2013-14 series

Let There Be Light:
Series finale.
There sure was light here.
Completely terrifying with Lucy’s full transformation into a vampire with her mother her first victim.
Horrifying what happened to Browning’s children thanks to Van Helsing and what the children then do to their father.
Van Helsing is now on a path to revenge on Dracula.
The series ends leaving in wonder where it would have gone from here.
