From Russia with Drugs:
Season 7, Episode 7.
Nice play in name to From Russia With Love.
Not bad case about the said drugs but the enthralling part was with the explosion whilst Sherlock was talking to a spy in a nearby cafe.
Good subplot about the apparent midconduct with the police captain who filled in for Gregson during his incapacitation.

Miss Understood:
Season 7, Episode 8.
Sequel to the equally aptly named Miss Taken as this sees the return of Cassie.
Enjoyable episode as this investigates who killed one of Cassie's childhood foster mothers.
Heartwarming at the end when Sherlock help Cassie pick a new name.

Unfriended:
Antepenultimate episode.
Holmes and Watson gets Morland's help against Reichenbach.
Meanwhile Reichenbach is being ousted from his own company making him more dangerous.
Sad end with news that Morland is dead.
This was directed by Lucy Liu and so in a way Morland was killed off by Watson!

Reichenbach Falls:
Penultimate episode.
This presents a pretty good lead-up to what it says in the title.
It is a recreation of the original story where Reichenbach Falls in which Holmes faces off against Moriarty.
However instead of Moriarty, the villain here is the recurring one named Reichenbach.
Reichenbach certainly has a metaphorical fall when he gets arrested for the literal fall of Sherlock.
Sherlock without letting anyone know survives the fall and culminates what is to come in the finale Their Last Bow.

Their Last Bow:
Series finale.
This is set three years later with Reichenbach in prison for crimes he committed including killing Holmes.
However Holmes staged his death and Watson was in on this plan and eventually told it to the now retired Gregson and Bell who succeeded him as captain.
This had Holmes coming back to New York when Joan was informed Moriarty.
Holmes does not believe that Moriarty is dead.
However Moriarty does not turn up here and read afterwards that Natalie Dormer wasn't asked to come back as her.
What I have gathered from this is that as long as life goes on so does crime whether it is from Moriarty or someone else.
In fact the series does not end with a resolution to Moriarty.
It is instead the opposite with it just getting started on it and that really shows Holmes and Watson's determination in solving any case no matter how long it takes.
