In Buffy, Anya was played by Emma Caulfield and in the season 7 finale Chosen she was killed off. I read the decision to kill off Anya was done at the request of Emma Caulfied herself as she wanted to kill off the possibility of her playing Anya in Angel. Obviously Emma Caulfied has done all she could for Anya.
Curiously enough I just saw Emma Caulfield in an episode of Renegade (1992-97) called Teen Angel and this episode title refers to the character she plays here. So while she did not get to be in Angel she was instead Teen Angel earlier in the unrelated Renegade.
The Renegade episode had reference to Dracula and this is kind of prophetic to Emma Caulfied later entering into a world of vampires in Buffy. In fact as series regular she was in Buffy vs Dracula which had opened Buffy’s fifth season.

Saw The Librarian: Curse of the Judas Chalice and it had Stana Katic playing a vampire.
Although Stana Katic has never appeared in Buffy as a vampire or anything else it is curious to note what she is doing now and that is she is playing Kate Beckett in Castle in which Beckett’s fiancé and the title character is played by Nathan Fillion. Fillion appeared in the last few episodes of Buffy season 7 in which his character Caleb killed potential vampire slayers. No wonder they got on in Castle as it is a good match between a vampire and a vampire slayer killer.

To Star Trek fans, Armin Shimerman is remembered as Quark in Deep Space Nine (1993-99) but concurrent to the last couple of years of Deep Space Nine and a year after that Shimerman had a recurring role in Buffy the Vampire Slayer as Principal Snyder of Sunnydale High School.

Well I just seen him in Joan of Arcadia 2.19 Trial and Error aired some years after his stints on Buffy in which he is back at school not as principal but as a teacher.
As a teacher he taught his students about mock trials and set up one and the case being of Jack from Jack from the Beanstalk being on trial for the murder of the giant!

Five years before she was the original Buffy, Kristy Swanson was in the 1987 big screen movie Flowers In The Attic playing Cathy.
Flowers In The Attic was based on a book and it was later adapted as a TV movie in 2014 in the first of a series of TV movies based on the book series that started with Flowers In The Attic.
In these TV movies Heather Graham played Corrine, Cathy’s mother and in the third of these TV movies If There Be Thorns, Corrine’s father and Cathy’s grandfather was played in flashbacks by Robert Moloney.

Robert Moloney was Professor Gryffen in K9 and Heather Graham was Judy Robinson in the Lost In Space movie.

So if planets had been aligned Buffy would have been the daughter of Judy Robinson and the granddaughter of Professor Gryffen!

These days Buffy alums Eliza Dushku and Seth Green voices She-Hulk and A-Bomb respectively in Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H. and in a recent episode 2.21 Days of Future Smash: Dracula has a situation in which the Hulks including She-Hulk and A-Bomb fighting vampires and of course Dushku and Green had previous experience fighting vampires in Buffy.

Incidentally Buffy does meet Dracula in the Buffy season 5 opener Buffy vs Dracula but it was not an episode that feature either Dushku and Green.
In fact as Hulks they don’t get to meet Dracula so there is no rectification of such an encounter here in the said Hulk and The Agents of S.M.A.S.H. episode.

Recently saw the movie Can't Hardly Wait and it featured two Buffy alums Seth Green and Amber Benson.

Can't Hardly Wait was released in 1998 and Green was in the midst of playing Oz in Buffy.

Amber Benson would not join Buffy to play Tara until the year after.

In Can't Hardly Wait they briefly encounter each other when the Green character passes by the Amber Benson character.

In Buffy they were both in the same two episodes but it was only in the first of these episodes New Moon Rising that Oz and Tara have something substantially to do with each other.

This is because Oz had discovered that his ex Willow had moved on to Tara.

So Green and Amber Benson Can't Hardly Wait to become love rivals on Buffy.

Saw Amber Benson in short film S.H.I.E.L.D.E.D.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=ONuU8NRo-3g

Even though Amber Benson is a Buffy alum this short film is not linked to Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. created by Buffy creator Joss Whedon.

Saw Psych 6.3 The Episode Sucks and the episode title refers to vampires as the episode is vampire-themed.
The episode has full of ties to other vampire shows and movies and Buffy got represented here by the casting of two Buffy alums that of the original Buffy herself Kristy Swanson (in the first of six appearances in the series) and Tom Lenk.
In the Buffy TV series Lenk played Andrew who at one time was the guestage of Buffy (Sarah Michelle Gellar) at her house.
In the Psych episode he is a roommate of the other Buffy, Kristy Swanson. So not that much of difference between these two situations.

Whereas Kristy Swanson had been the originally Buffy who slayed Buffy, here in the Psych episode she is suspected of being a vampire or to be more precise committing vampire like attacks.

In the Doctor Who novel The King's Dragon featuring the Eleventh Doctor, Amy and Rory, the latter two recounted some of their TV adventures with Rory saying:
"Fight the odd vampire" [in The Vampires of Venice].

The Doctor then responded "Technically speaking, they weren't vampires...Do I look like Buffy?"

Buffy alum Tom Lenk guest starred in Bones 11.4 The Carpals In the Coy-Wolves.

Bones has former Angel David Boreanaz as one of its main stars and Lenk as his Buffy character Andrew Wells had turned up in a couple of episodes of Angel in Damage & The Girl In Question.
