Penultimate episode.
Funny what the visitor does around the household and Rory saying how he feels guilty about it.
The Doctor mentioned the Androvax who have been seen in two stories of the Sarah Jane Adventures in Prisoner of the Judoon & The Vault of Secrets.

Some interesting and fun videos in the lead-up to the next season including two from Doctor Who Insider:

Finale.
Most of this episode has the Doctor talking on the phone but it sure ends ominously and it is a good lead-up to Asylum of the Daleks.

Season 37 opener. The first time that the Daleks have opened a season since season 25’s Remembrance of the Daleks in 1988.
Written by showrunner Steven Moffat.
[Highlight for spoilers for those waiting to see it on the ABC rather than seeing it first on iView]

Skaro finally appears after a very long time.
Terrifying seeing Daleks in human form.
Just as I thought Cassandra was played by Naomi Ryan and what a delightful surprise seeing her here.
Also surprise seeing a change in style with credits in the title sequence and a change of logo.
I was quite surprised seeing Jenna-Louise Coleman here as I had expected to see her introduction as Clara in the upcoming Christmas Special. However she isn’t Clara here as her character here is Oswin. No doubt there will be an explanation, narrative-wise, in the aforementioned Christmas Special on why Clara and Oswin look alike.
There has been a Dalek Emperor and Dalek Supreme but this is the first time that there has been a Dalek Prime Minister.
The Doctor gets a new nickname – the Predator of the Daleks.
Wow what an explosion when that Dalek self-destructed with its fellow Daleks.
Surprise on hearing the names of the planets that the Doctor had encountered the Daleks on in previous adventures.
Quite a shock and a disappointment when the Doctor found Oswin. It is reminiscent of CAL in Moffat’s own Library episodes.
Very ironic the Doctor calling the Daleks suckers and as we are now heading towards the 50th anniversary year next year 2013 it is quite appropriate for the Daleks to ask continuously that question of “Doctor Who?”
Excellent way to open this season and it has an extremely good big screen movie feeling to it.

For those who have seen Asylum of the Daleks and it could easily be thought as being a stand-in for the late Doctor Who Confidential.

Two trailers on Doctor Who: Dinosaur On A Spaceship and introduction by Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill:

I just love the way the Doctor says the episode title.

Asylum of the Daleks prequel:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q1r2dQkB1fY

Very spooky that hooded figure and this prequel has a very dream-like quality to it.
Leads directly into Asylum of the Daleks and as someone who has already seen Asylum of the Daleks I of course already knows where the Doctor is heading at the end.
