The Plan:
TV movie.
Very good direction by Edward James Olmos and script by Jane Espenson.
Dean Stockwell brought a standout performance as Cavil.
Amazing how the newly shot scenes fitted seamlessly with the old material.

The special features on the DVD are quite enjoyable including the commentary with Olmos and Espenson.

Syfy has ordered a new TV movie Battlestar Galactica: Blood and Chrome as a backdoor pilot to a new spin-off series which would either replace or accompany current spin-off Caprica.
Blood and Chrome will centre on a young Bill Adama.

BSG Executive Producer David Eick is involved with Blood and Chrome but Ron Moore is not.

Luke Pasqualino has been cast as the new Bill Adama (younger than the one in the parent Battlestar Galactica series but significantly older than the one that was in Caprica) in the upcoming Blood and Chrome.

In October 2011 the forthcoming big screen version of Battlestar Galactica directed by Bryan Singer saw the hiring of John Orloff as the movie’s writer.
More recently Singer revealed that the Orloff script had been rewritten and despite the movie having been originally been announced as a reimagination of the original series, Singer said the movie is "quite well between the Glen Larson and Ron Moore universes".

Blood and Chrome

Episode 1:
Not bad.
Quite amused on Bill Adama being indignant on being forced to fly what he considered a bus.

Blood and Chrome

Episode 2:
Quite good with the way the end of this episode was presented with a shock that the characters here got but not enough to settle in with this shock as they have deal with something else.

Blood and Chrome

Episode 3:
Not bad.
Someone talks in their sleep which demonstrates the reality of the situation.
Quite a nick in time when that passcode was delivered.
