Tourist Promotion Authority Press Release 10th March, 2003

PNG Tourism Promotion Authority Board Chairman Nick Kuman, who is also the Chairman of the Permanent Parliamentary Committee on Culture & Tourism, visited the site of a proposed eco – tourism project in Daulo, Eastern Highlands, at the weekend. Acting Chief Executive Officer of the PNG Tourism Promotion Authority, Ms Erigere Singin, accompanied him. Mr Kuman visited the area at the invitation of Daulo MP, Ben Kiagi, who is a stauch advocate of promoting tourism in the area. Mr Kuman and Ms Singin were taken to the top of Daulo Pass, and shown the potential the area has for tourism development.
