*Madang Tourism Web Site Launched*

The Madang Province Tourism Web Site was launched March 10th by the Hon. John Hickey and witnessed by 14 other MPs, many of the Province's tourism stakeholders and the general public.

The web site is an initiative taken by the Madang Visitors & Cultural Bureau to better promote Madang as a top tourist destination in the pacific. It also aims to market community-based tourism operators and accommodation to the world at large to help direct the financial benefits of tourism straight to a grassroots level.

The web site was researched, designed and constructed by the staff of Madang Visitors & Cultural Bureau and an Australian Youth Ambassador for Development, Miss Louisa Noble.

Please visit www.madangtourism.com and direct any constructive criticism back to the Madang Visitors & Cultural Bureau via email: mvcb@madangtourism.com

Any other organisations that could link us to their web site would be greatly apreciated. In addition, other relevant web sites wishing to be linked in our 'links' section can email us on the above address.

Thumbs up Way to go Madang, Congratulations!!

Congratulations to Madang province on the launch of their new website. You website looks really nice.

As a growing tourist attraction and as one of the country's no.1 tourist destination, this type of information tool, will prove very usefull to tourism industry as it is much needed nowadays.

This will certainly help bring more tourists into the country and the province, thanks to the Madang Visitors & Cultural Bureau for taking this "step into the right direction."

Let's show the world what PNG's got.

This is a great website, I have referred my friends to this site and they are really excited about their first visit to PNG including Lae, Madang and Kavieng. At least they have a fair idea of what to expect when they get there.

Thank you!
