I'm trying to help my sister obtain a certified copy of her birth certificate. It's needed to apply for a temporary Australian Visa.

What is she supposed to do with the Birth certificate application form once it's been filled in? Where should it be sent to? Via e-mail? Post? How is payment arranged?

Any help appreciated, thanks in advance.

Help about birth certificates

Hi I was born at Angau Memorial Hospital, Lae in 1973. I have lost my original TERRITORY OF PAPUA AND NEW GUINEA and my PAPUA NEW GUINEA EXTRACT OF ENTRY. Theses r the only documents I've had. But now lost. How do I go about getting another copy of them. If there's more documents to get what r they. I'm getting married and need these documents as my passport has expired by 3 years and 1 week. Thanks

I have always produced both my original "Territory of New Guinea Birth Certificate" and "Extract from Register of Births, Commonwealth of Australia Nationality and Citizenship Act 1948-1960", and have had no problems. This Extract is also my proof of Australian citizenship
