Loloata Island - an aquatic wonderland!

Loloata island is situated about 5 kilometres outside Port Moresby, only 15 minutes from the International Airport, just offshore from Port Moresby.

The island stretches lazily on top of the blue sea across from Bootless Bay with a long white stretch of sand where you can enjoy a long walk.

Here beautiful beach Resort - a colonial style elevated untis is a peaceful alternative to the contemporary hotels in Port Moresby.

Once you're booked in you can enjoy the fine views of the ocean and enjoy the cooling sea breeze from the wide balcony.

Loloata Island was traditionally used as a feasting ground by the locals living in surrounding coastal area. Today it is well known for its unique cooking sytle - the resort blends the Pacific custom of ample sufficiency with its renowned friendly service.

A bonus is freshly roasted Highland coffee which is available anytime of the day or night with the compliments of the management.

Evenings commence with hors d'oeuvres in the patioi and bar at 6.pm. After the sunset, enjoy a barbacue out by the sea-wall and for the energetic, perhaps some dancing after the dinner.

Watersports abound - there are facilitues to swim, Kayak, Surfski, snorkel or scuba dive.
Recreational tennis, dart board, and a selection of cards and games.

A small and interesting vidoe tapes about Papua New Guinea is available for screening.

Bushwalking or strolling along the beaches is a relaxing pastime and it's possible to make it around the whole island in about an hour. The fishing is great too!
