Quark 1.5 Goodbye Polumbus is partly a spoof of Shore Leave & This Side of Paradise with a dash of I, Mudd added to it.

To add to this the Head says five day mission, an obvious riff on five year mission.

Star Trek: Phase II

Enemy: Starfleet:
Episode 6.
Guest stars Barbara Luna (Marlena in the TOS episode Mirror, Mirror & was also in an earlier New Voyages [as it was then known] episode In Harms Way playing Veronica).
Here Barbara Luna plays Alersa who had years previously had taken over a Federation starship that was thought to be lost forever and she used the ship against the people she has been oppressing.
Hence the name of this episode because when the Enterprise came around the oppressed people thought they were the villains because of Alersaís misuse of the starship she has been using.
A very good episode in which Kirk enmeshed himself in seduction in order to defeat Alersa and it was accompanying well with how he has been getting along with his nephew Peter in light of the loss he suffered in the previous story Blood and Fire.

Tactics:
http://www.adastrafanfic.com/viewsto...1612&chapter=1

Tactics is fanfiction written by SL Walker featuring Captain Chris Pike and Scotty.
Quite an enjoyable little story in which Captain Pike commands Scotty during a training session.
This is quite an interesting look in the relationship between Pike and Scotty considering that these two characters did not interact together in the original Star Trek.

The antepenultimate episode of Bones season 8, The Party in the Pants guest starred Joanna Cassidy as Seeley Boothís mother Marianne.
In this episode she got married to the character played by Robert Pine and Pine is the father of Chris Pine, the actor who played James T Kirk in the recent Star Trek movies.
Funnily enough Joanna Cassidy had a recurring role in Boston Legal where she got married to Denny Crane played by original Kirk actor William Shatner.

Joanna Cassidy herself played the mother of a major Star Trek character when she played TíPolís mother TíLes in Enterprise.

So what we have here is that of TíPolís mother being married to Kirk and then his father!

Star Wreck 2π: Full Twist, now!:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b1fkMuMDqXI

Star Wreck 2π: Full Twist, now! Is a spin-off from the Star Wreck film series.

This film is on a mission led by Captain Stocklin.
Quite enjoyable, quite amusing and pretty good battle sequences.
There is also a Babylon 5 parody that ends the film.

Star Trek London - All 5 Captains Talk 2012:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CKS0GRxpfZc

Taking place in 2012, this event has all the captains from the five Star Trek TV shows together and it was hosted by a non-Trek captain John Barrowman (Doctor Who/Torchwood).
Interesting remarks that came out of the Trek captains and Barrowman sure could not contain his enthusiasm in being in their presence.

Star Trek Phase II

Kitumba:
Episode 8.
Kitumba was originally a two part story draft for the shelved Phase II TV series in 1977 and it is presented as one episode.
However only half the episode has been released as a preview with the full episode to be released on January 1 2014.
This ironically given its genesis makes the fan version kind of like a two-parter.
Extremely good what I seen so far with the Enterprise crew teaming up with a Klingon to prevent the Klingon Empire from declaring a war.
