Although Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is scheduled for release on May 5 2017, Australians will get to see it ten days early on ANZAC Day April 25.
Found this out after I walked out of a cinema after seeing Assassin’s Creed and spot the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 with the said date.
Got taken aback upon seeing the poster with my wife Karen Gillan on it with her co-stars as it was certainly a different experience from previously seeing it on the Internet.

My wife Karen Gillan has told TheWrap that Nebula will be more sympathetic in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 :

“What I love about the second movie for Nebula in particular is that we get — We know that she’s a pretty angry woman with some daddy issues. [But] in the second movie, we’re going to start to see how much pain her father actually caused her, and we’re going to delve right into the relationship with her sister Gamora.”.

“I think we might even feel a tinge of sympathy towards Nebula this time, because we really start to see the emotional crack in her character. I was just allowed to completely explore that and take it to a completely different dimension with her. I was really happy about that.”

In the latest issue of People Magazine (Australia) has a feature on women who went bald for their work and this includes my wife Karen Gillan for playing Nebula in Guardians of the Galaxy:
“Karen Gillan – Guardians of the Galaxy (2014)
Kaz fair dinkum shaved her skull to portray Nebula in Guardians, proving it by WHIPPING OFF HER WIG at a nerd convention. As the blue baddie, she was even more enticing than when she’d served up a slice of sideboob in rom-com Not Another Happy Ending (2013). Respect.”

Talking Dead 6.13 Bury Me Here had a brief reference at the end of Guardians 2 by host Chris Hardwick due to the presence in this show by one of its cast members Michael Rooker (Yondu).

Animated series

Pick up the Pieces:
Opening episode of the season 2 shorts.
As they are leaving New York, the Guardians find the Milano difficult to navigate and that is because of the weigh of each of the Guardians pized possessions.
Amusing on the arguments on what needs to be thrown out before they are eventually thrown out.

Star-Lord vs MODOK:
Episode 2 of the season 2 shorts.
A funny little encounter between Star-Lord and MODOK after the Milano crash landed on a planet which culminated in Star-Lord hanging on a rocket!
