Star Trek: Hidden Frontier

Operation Beta Shield:
Second special of Hidden Frontier.
This is presented as a feature length presentation.
Not bad with the way the menace is presented and dealt with.
The ending however felt somewhat unsatisfactorily like some things were left unresolved.

Star Trek: Odyssey

The Wine Dark Sea:
Season 1, Episode 2.
First episode in which the title sequence and it looks like Voyager's. Should not be surprising as Odyssey feels like Voyager.
The crew are still settling into the new circumstances that they are now in especially emphasised when two of them gets into a fight.
Not bad in this the early days of Odyssey's journey.

Star Trek: Odyssey

The Lotus Eaters:
Season 1, Episode 3.
A bit so-so with this episode as the crew prevent genocide by the Archiens and getting a couple along the way.

It Takes a Thief 2.12 To Catch a Roaring Lion guest starred George Takei and Brock Peters.
Both Takei and Peters would later be in Star Trek IV and VI as Sulu and Admiral Cartwright respectively.
The It Takes a Thief episode was directed by Marc Daniels who also directed Takei on TOS.

Stephanie Niznik has passed away.

Born on May 20 1967, Stephanie appeared in Star Trek:Insurrection playing Perim and then in the Star Trek: Enterprise episode Rogue Planet playign The Wraith.

Stephanie was truly a beautiful woman who I first took notice in her film debut Exit To Eden which included having a beautiful nude pool scene with the equally beautiful Dana Delany.

Stephanie later appeared in the Renegade episode Most Wanted in which she had things in common with regular cast member Kathleen Kinmont.

Both have done nude scenes in their careers. In fact their nude debut saw them being naked with another woman. Kathleen appeared naked with Barbara Crampton in Fraternity Vacation while Stephanie appeared naked with Dana Delany in Exit To Eden.
In fact Exit to Eden was released on October 14 1994 almost a year before the original airing of Most Wanted on October 2 1995.
In fact Fraternity Vacation & Exit To Eden was the first time ever I saw Kathleen and Stephanie respectively. Those movies were also the first time I saw Barbara and Dana naked respectively but I had seen them before elsewhere fully clothed.
So for me Stephanie is Kathleen’s counterpart in Exit To Eden as I initially thought of them as bonus women who got naked with other women that I was already familiar with in the respective movies but eventually liked them as equally as the other women.

Stephanie's other work included The Sentinel, Sliders. Diagnosis Murder , Grey's Anatomy, Traveler, & Lost.

She died on June 23 2019 at the age of 52.

It was hard for me to write all this as I love her very much and always will.

She is and always be my wife.

Dana's tribute to Stephanie on Twitter:

Like Stephanie, Dana is also my wife.

Star Trek: Odyssey

Vile Gods:
Penultimate episode of season 1.
Not bad episode in which Ro is held captive and the visions he sees.
In the midst of this T'Lorra is in command in the interim and whether Stadi is willing to follow her orders.

The cast for the upcoming Star Trek animated series Lower Decks:

Jack Quaid as Brad Boimler
NoŽl Wells as Tendi
Eugene Cordero as Rutherford
Dawnn Lewis as Carol Freeman
Jerry O'Connell as Jack Ransom
Fred Tatasciore as Shaxs

Among Gillian Vigman's previous work is that of a not too dissimilar flight attendant in the Selfie pilot in a scene with my wife Karen Gillan.

Star Trek: Lower Decks is expected to be released in 2020.
