Star Trek: Prelude To Axanar:
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects...ref=nav_search

Prelude to Axanar is a fan made Star Trek film based on a chapter of the role playing game The Four Years War and as it says in the title it is a prelude to a full length film which is in a process of getting funding via Kickstarter.

It has Gary Graham reprising his role as Soval from Enterprise, other past Star Trek guest stars playing different characters and BSG alum Richard Hatch as Klingon Commander Kharn.
Quite fun seeing Hatch as a Klingon.
Intriguing chapter about The Four Years War and presented in a documentary style format with the characters being interviewed on the perspective of the war.
Very good and look forward how the full length film will turn out.

The second episode of The Real History of Science Fiction, Space included looking at the original Star Trek with comments from William Shatner, Nichelle Nichols and her successor as Uhura, Zoe Saldana, Ronald D Moore and Nicholas Meyer.
Also comments from Neil Gaiman and Nathan Fillion.

Basically the comments here was how much optimism Star Trek brought about for space travel.
Nichelle Nichols says that she was asked to help out for NASA even though she herself pointed out that she is not a scientist.
Quite a good overview on what Star Trek was about.

Saw Bonanza 3.21 Gift of Water.
Originally shown in 1962, this episode of Bonanza is a curio to Star Trek fans as it guest stars James Doohan and Majel Barrett four years before they were on the Enterprise together in the original Star Trek!

Star Trek: Hidden Frontier

Yesterday’s Excelsior:
Season 2, Episode 2.
The episode title is obvious variation on TNG’s Yesterday Enterprise.
Surprising that it begins with the theme of the original Battlestar Galactica.
Thrilling episode of what happens when the Excelsior under the command of Captain Hikaru Sulu ends up in the 24th century.
Absolutely well done.

Star Trek XIII will be filmed in Seoul and in one of these Doctor Who-Star Trek games I like to play, Seoul, not so long ago was a location for the recent Doctor Who World Tour.
