Teen Wolf 6.4 is called Relics.
Perhaps it is a remarkable coincidence but Star Trek: The Next Generation’s own 6.4 is also called Relics(!)

Star Trek: A Captain’s Log:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8GVEIl53t4Y

Presented by William Shatner this is a documentary that originally aired in 1994 that takes a look at the original crew of the Enterprise.
Not bad documentary on the original Star Trek crew’s adventures.

Although he is not the series lead actor, Star Trek: Discovery finally has its captain and it is Captain Lorca played by Jason Isaacs.
Like TNG’s Patrick Stewart, Isaacs is a Brit.
Also cast is James Frain as Spock’s father Sarek. Coincidentally I have been seeing Frain as Theo Galavan in Gotham season 2.
Unlike when Sarek was played by original actor Mark Lenard in TOS and TNG, Frain is playing Sarek as a series regular.
Terry Serpico is Starfleet admiral Anderson.
Maulik Pancholy is Nambue, Chief Medical Officer of the USS Shenzhou.
Sam Vartholomeos as Connor: A junior officer in Starfleet Academy, assigned to the Shenzhou.
Mary Wiseman as Cadet Tilly: A Starfleet Academy Cadet in her final year of study, assigned to the Discovery

Rainn Wilson has been cast as Harry Mudd in Star Trek: Discovery.
Harry Mudd had originally appeared in TOS and TAS when he was played by the late Roger C. Carmel.

The corresponding Talking Dead episode to The Walking Dead season 7 finale The First Day of the Rest of Your Life talked about Sonequa Martin-Green’s departure from The Walking Dead as this episode has her singing her swansong with Martin-Green a guest on this show.

At the end of this Talking Dead, host Chris Hardwick mentioned Martin-Green's next show that of headlining Star Trek: Discovery.

Star Trek Continues:

Still Treads The Shadow:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GQeO5uuUbH4

Episode 8.
This episode feels pretty much like Doctor Who: The Girl Who Waited.
In the Doctor Who episode there are two Amy Ponds one younger and the other one a much older one. The explanation for the latter is the result of being left behind for a long time.
In this Star Trek Continues episode, Captain Kirk is the character in this scenario.
Very good and heart-warming seeing the aged Kirk as he recounts the years he was left behind and the ultimate he makes to save the Enterprise crew including his younger self.

Star Trek: Hidden Frontier

In Memory Of:
Season 3, Episode 4.
Enjoyable episode about the Borg and pretty good incorporating a Q in this episode.
That dream was sure prescient to the news report afterwards.

Star Trek: Hidden Frontier

Modus Operandi:
Season 3, Episode 5.
Not bad episode involving a dispute between the Cardassians and the Son’a.
Too bad that Robin Lefler missed out on being First Officer having lost that position to Commander Naros.

Star Trek: Hidden Frontier

Santa Q:
Season 3, Episode 6.
A Christmas episode in which as the episode title says has Q being Santa.
Christmas is a time of harmony but I find nothing harmonious as this episode is blatantly anti-religion in its message as Knapp explained to Traya why Christmas is still being celebrated even though religion got phased out with the advent of First Contact.
I simply do not like anything that evokes debate about religion.
The episode delivered very little of what it says in its title as Q as Santa does not add anything to the episode’s plot.
Delivering what it says in the episode title does not necessarily have to be mandatory for me. If a narrative can deliver enjoyment without any delivery of what it says in the title then it fine with me. As Santa Q was of no enjoyment with me therefore the episode delivering very little of what it says in the title did not impress me at all.
I don’t think it is right to present a theme about Christmas and at the same time dismissing the concept that made Christmas possible.
To add insult to injury the production team at the end credits wished its viewers Happy Holidays not Merry Christmas.
Coincidentally just as I saw Q as Santa I am now seeing on DVD Doctor Who: Last Christmas and that too featured Santa Claus.
Also coincidentally on the same day as watching Santa Q, saw the latest Doctor Who episode The Pilot which partially took place at Christmas.
Santa Q as a Christmas episode represents a contrast to Doctor Who Christmas Specials. Doctor Who Christmas Specials runs longer than the length of normal length Doctor Who episodes.
Santa Q however runs less than the usual Hidden Frontier episode. The usual Hidden Frontier episode runs for half an hour and Santa Q in contrast runs a little over half that time at 16 minutes.
Another similarity with Doctor Who is with Santa Q being Star Trek: Hidden Frontier 3.6 and Doctor Who: The Snowmen is also a Christmas episode and the sixth episode of Matt Smith’s third season as the Doctor.
