Star Trek: Hidden Frontier

Ashes:
Antepenultimate episode of season 3.
Issues here makes for uncomfortable including how one culture practices cannibalism.
The explanation for cannibalism seems to take on a sympathetic note when such sympathy is not deserved at all.
Fanboy moment when we see an image of Michelle Forbes as Ro Laren as it was looked at by her brother Ro Nevin.

Voyage of the Defiant:
Penultimate episode of season 3.
Not bad episode which began with a Ferengi trader contacting the crew and what soon ensues with the Tholians.
This was voted the best of the season but personally I don’t find it that remarkable.

Hell’s Gate Part 1:
Season 3 finale.
Pretty good finale especially by what the Excelsior crew encountered at the cliffhanger.
One of the crew member sure got angry by what the first officer did here.

Hell’s Gate Part 2:
Season 4 opener.
Very good conclusion to Hell’s Gate and a very good way to begin the fourth season.
It was pretty good how the villain got defeated here.

Piracy of the Noble:
Season 4, Episode 2.
Piracy of the Noble is Star Trek: Hidden Frontier 4.2 and the Doctor Who companion in NuWho’s own 4.2 The Fires of Pompeii is Donna Noble and also marked the Doctor Who debut by my wife Karen Gillan.
The piracy here is done by the Maquis in this very enjoyable episode.
For this Maquis the fight against the Cardassians is not over.
Deep Space Nine has a cameo at the end of this episode.

Addictions:
Season 4, Episode 3.
Henglaar is sent to infiltrate the drug operation by his brother.
Very convincing when Henglaar faked a violent argument with Captain Shelby for his brother’s benefit.
After the brother got arrested it is astounding that Henglaar showed no sadness with his own brother’s arrest saying he deserved what he got.

Star Trek: Discovery which had been set for release this month has now been delayed indefinitely.

Meanwhile discovered (no pun intended) more casting for the series and is that of the following:
Kenneth Mitchell as Kol: Commanding Officer of the Klingons, and protege of T'Kuvma.
Rekha Sharma as Landry: Security Officer for the Discovery.
Damon Runyan as Ujilli: A leader in the Klingon Empire.
Clare McConnell as Dennas: A leader in the Klingon Empire.

Grave Matters:
Season 4, Episode 4.
Old hostilities between the Cardassians and the Bajorans resurfaced here when Bajoran graves are discovered and Cardassians blamed for their deaths.
Quite harrowing the atmosphere regarding the said hostilities between the two said races and the ultimate revelation is certainly a shock to everyone.
