DC-3 At Nadzab

When I revisited Lae in 1989, I photographed a derelict DC-3 at Nadzab - P2-ANZ...can anyone tell me what has happened to the aircraft? Scrapped, or moved elsewhere?? It was in a very sorry state then, but would appreciate any news...

Can you put the photo up here? VH-ANZ (the 3 letters were usually kept when changing to P2) was an ANA, then Ansett, then MacRobertson Miller DC3 up to Jan 1971. Supposedly wound up in Cambodia. C/N 9559 and it had the earlier Cyclone engines with the short cowling.

Sorry state? Some DC-3s ad 25k hrs on the clock and *then* they wound up in PNG.
