Hi jim lees

I suggest you should established contact with a tour guide in the area before you travel . There is a local businessman by the name of Steven who travels 2kms each morning from his home to pick Sepik River tour messages at the Windjammer Beach Resort. Steve works closely with the resort and organizes tour groups up to the Sepik River. The sepik people are very friendly people.

You can contact Winjammer Beach Resort for a start:
Phone: 856 2388/ 856 2713
Facsimile: 856 2701
Email: Windjammer@datec.com.pg
