Before The Mast:
Episode 11.
Similar in name to Doctor Who 39.4 Before The Flood which I coincidentally saw hours before this Buccaneers episode.
In fact this episode does have floods in it albeit on a ship!
Very enjoyable episode in which Dan Tempest and his men battle against Spanish.
Also enjoyable seeing Tempest disguising himself as a one-eyed Spanish pirate.
Exciting battle that took place on the Spanish ship and how climatic that the boy got off that ship in time.

Dan Tempest and the Amazons:
Episode 12.
Another episode about a cargo of women.
Joan Simms plays the leader of these women and she was fun at it in this fun episode.

Articles of War:
Episode 13.
Funny situation that occurs when some of the Buccaneers got themselves in the war-like situation all because they got sick of eating fish and wanted real meat.
It's funny that fish came up in conversation at the end and the reaction.
Believe me it is not really bad to have too many fish at any one time.

The Hand of the Hawk:
Episode 14.
Guest stars Sid James as Chantey Jack.
Good guest stint from James as Chantey Jack and what a haunting song that was sang that really spooked the villain of this episode.

Cutlass Wedding:
Episode 27.
The women that were introduced in 1.12 Dan Tempest and The Amazons.
Quite funny in the lead-up to the said wedding and Paul Eddington was very good as the villainous slave traders with the women being his intended slaves that he wanted to trade.

Prize of Andalusia:
Episode 29.
Playing one of the villains is Conrad Phillips who would later play the title character in fellow ITC series The Adventures of William Tell.
Robert Shaw (Captain Dan Tempest) would later repay Phillips' appearance here when he later turned up in The Adventures of William Tell 1.19 The Trap playing the villain and I just so happened to see that William Tell episode just prior to seeing this Buccaneers episode on Television Sydney (TVS).
While the Phillips character is good as the villain, Jean Cadell is exceedingly good as the old female villain and definitely a good match against Tempest.
It was very good how Tempest stopped the Cadell character from getting away with the gold.

The Aztec Treasure:
Episode 28.
Interesting search for the said treasure and the ultimate treasure is one that no one was looking for in the first place.
Interesting display of the Aztec culture and Doctor Who would explore such a culture in The Aztecs.

Dan Tempest Holds An Auction:
Episode 30.
Interesting auction that Dan Tempest held and what a fight he takes on the Company both at the auction and a literal fight.
Have to say quite an unusual auction as a plot device but nevertheless enjoyable.

Marooned:
Episode 15.
First of two appearances by Willoughby Goddard. Goddard would later have a regular role as the villain Landburgher Gessler in fellow ITC series The Adventures of William Tell.
Here he plays Phineas Bunch a member of Tempest's crew but got duped by the adversaries to become their captain and turned against Tempest and his crew.
The new captain Bunch soon got Tempest and crew marooned on an island.
This all gets a funny resolution when captain Bunch had a dispute on who is really the captain of the villains and of course Tempest reclaiming his ship.

Gentleman Jack and the Lady:

Episode 16.

Gentleman Jack is the captain of the ship The Lady but the Gentleman is a lady disguised as a man.

Fun when as a lady that she played both Tempest and Beamish to get what she wants.
