One For the Mortuary (Big Finish):
This is the Big Finish remake of One For The Mortuary.
One For The Mortuary is 1.13 of the TV series but it is here where Big Finish has diverged from the running order of the TV series as it is presented as the fourth episode in its remake of first season episodes.
One For The Mortuary is a very intriguing and thrilling as Steed places Keel in the midst of an international conspiracy involving a medical formula.
A very well handling of the episode including the part given by Yvette a woman that Keel meets and played by Francesca Hunt.

The original episode was written by Brian Clemens and his son Sam plays Wilson in the Big Finish remake.
There is an accompanied interview with Sam Clemens.
Interesting interview including Sam revealing that when his father created CI5: The New Professionals that one of the characters Chris Keel was named after David Keel from The Avengers.
Curiously enough I began watching CI5: The New Professionals shortly after that revelation about this series.

The Joker Episode 1:

Radio version of the TV episode of the same name.
Very spooky opening to this story as someone from Emma’s past is haunting her.
The first moments of this episode as described by the narrator was certainly creepy.

Ola is certainly quite blasť about what her uncle Sir Cavalier does.
Quite creepy the cards here especially at the cliffhanger when the Joker becomes the Death Card.

The Joker Episode 3:

Strange things going on in the house whilst Emma is in it.
An eerie encounter when Emma meet someone at the door wanting to use the phone.
The narrator sure made point of the glove that person was wearing.

All of the original Avengers characters are together for Big Finish’s upcoming adaptation of the book The Avengers: Too Many Targets:
https://www.bigfinish.com/news/v/com...gn=tmtannounce

The gathering of all the Avengers from the original 1960s TV series together is something that was never achieved in the said TV series.

Too Many Characters sees new casting of familiar characters with Beth Chalmers as Cathy Gale, Emily Woodward as Tara King and Christopher Benjamin as Mother.

The Joker Episode 4:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sT0K...V0gnUu&index=4

The man at the door is revealed to be in league with Ola in playing a joke on Emma and was asked to scream for being in fake trouble before he had to scream for real trouble. So knew that was coming.

Radio version of Have Guns – Will Haggle.
The TV episode featured Steed and Tara but the radio version has Emma in place of the latter.
Funny what Emma did with the grenade.
Thrilling cliffhanger at the car and Emma.

Funny when Steed said to Emma that she reading the newspaper upside down but the narrator said that she wasn’t.
Oh dear Emma got spotted by the adversaries that she was tailing.
