Funny thing I read about The Avengers 5.13 A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Station:
theavengers.tv/forever/peel2-13.htm

"At odds with the direction Brian Clemens was taking the series, scriptwriter Roger Marshall left. Clemens rewrote one of his scripts, and used the pseudonym Brian Sheriff (the Sheriff doing the Marshall's job... get it?)."

I really love watching Avengers series. They use most outstanding graphics and cinematography than I'm star struck for hours even after watching the movie. Since I'm in firearms industry, I adore Iron Man gadgets. I wish I can also have something like his automatic laser arms guns.

This thread about the 1960s series The Avengers not Marvel's The Avengers.

Somewhat ironically Honor Blackman and her successor Diana Rigg both left the Avengers to be in a Bond movie as the former was in Goldfinger & the latter in On Her Majesty's Secret Service.

You'll Catch Your Death:
Season 7, Episode 4.
Guest stars Valentine Dyall who would later become the Black Guardian in Doctor Who.
Specialists are dropping dead after opening a letter which caused them to literally sneeze to death.
Not bad of an episode and certainly felt prophetic to this form of death being used by real-life terrorists.

Split!:
Season 7, Episode 5.
Guest stars Julian Glover and Christopher Benjamin.
Security agents are being murdered but the only clue of who the killer is, is an enemy agent that Steed had killed years earlier.
The situation ultimately revealed to involved mind transference and I coincidentally I am now listening to Doctor Who: The Curse of Davros which also involves mind transference.
Not bad on the mind transference plot and funny when Steed slapped the hospital receptionist on the backside before putting her in the cupboard!

Discovered that Seventh Doctor Sylvester McCoy and McCoy-era Doctor Who script editor Andrew Cartmel had compared the relationship between the Seventh Doctor and Ace to that of The Avengers' Steed and Peel.

While Big Finish ultimately got Olivia Poulet as their own Emma Peel, Sophie Aldred (Ace) did appear in the Big Finish remake of the lost Avengers episode Square Root of Evil.

A lost Avengers episode has been found.

It is Tunnel of Fear, the 20th episode of the series from the first season. It is a Keel-Steed episode and here is information on it at the Avengers Forever site:
http://theavengers.tv/forever/keel-20.htm

Note: The Avengers Forever site has not been updated for years and therefore does not take into account Tunnel of Fear's recent recovery.
