A meme of Wilf with Sylvia behind him from The End of Time bizarrely made its way on July 14 2019 in Dana Delany's Twitter account as Dana paid tribute to her Exit To Eden co-star Stephanie Niznik who sadly passed away on June 23.

Dana and Stephanie are my wives.

Beyond the Stars, the Beach:
Beyond the Stars, the Beach is fan fiction published in DE #238.
Written by Cegeste, the Phoenix.
Featuring the Eleventh Doctor and Eleanor.
Intriguing story set in Marseille 1905 especially with Eleanor remembering events even though she wasn't there.
Interesting Cegeste came into this.
Good lesson about a second chance to try again.

UNIT: Extinction: Armageddon:

Finale of Extinction.

Written by Matt Fitton.

Enthralling conclusion to Extinction.

When Osgood was working on a gun she denies that it is a ray gun before giving in to that label.

Kate carrying anti-plastic for use against the Nestene is certainly a neat callback to the Ninth Doctor doing the same in Rose.

That climax with Kate, Simon Devlin and Devlin's master was certainly worth the wait for this ending of Extinction.

What Jacqui McGee decided to do next is both exciting and worrying at the same time.

Gallifrey Chapter Twenty: Evolution:

Evolution is the middle episode of Gallifrey season 5.

Written by Una McCormack.

One--off guest stars David Yip, Anjli Mohindra and David Menkin.

Yip was in Lalla Ward's debut as Romana, Destiny of the Daleks in which he played a slave.

In Evolution he plays another slave.

Anjli Mohindra was Rani in The Sarah Jane Adventures.

In Evolution she plays Maris.

I am very certain I will be seeing Anjli again sometime in the future.

Menkin plays Gordon Tracy in Thunderbirds Are Go.

In Evolution he plays the villain Jonias.

Romana, Leela and Narvin are still in the alternate Gallifrey in this enjoyable entry to Gallifrey.

A pretty good interaction between Leela and Maris and Jonias is presented as a an effective villain especially with the revelation of how he conducted his experiment.

Good resolution to the bulk of the episode and fascinating with the word that comes up at the end.

Rutger Hauer passed away on July 19 2019.

In 2013, Hauer was among the sci fi luminaries that wished Doctor Who a happy 50th birthday that year, best wishes that were filmed for the BBC.

It was filmed whilst Hauer was interviewed for the documentary series The Real History of Science Fiction presented by Mark Gatiss.

Hauer's name had been linked with what became the 1996 Doctor Who TV Movie with his agent saying that he was a "major fan".

However in an interview with Empire Magazine at the time, Hauer said he had never heard of Doctor Who and had no idea what a Dalek was!

I had learnt of his death on August 12 when I just finished seeing him in the movie The Call of the Wild: Dog of the Yukon (1997) which was narrated by Richard Dreyfuss who coincidentally also wished Doctor Who a happy 50th birthday in that said video.

Born on January 23 1944, Hauer had been well known as Roy Batty in Blade Runner.

Hauer was the first Buffy villain playing Lothos in the original 1992 Buffy movie.

While Hauer did not appear in the subsequent Buffy TV series he did however later appeared in another vampire series True Blood.

His other work included Blind Side, Lexx, Merlin, The 10th Kingdom, Alias, Smallville, Sin City, Batman Begins, The Scorpion King 4: Quest for Power, Galavant, 24 Hours to Live &
Channel Zero.

He died at the age of 75.

Buyer's Remorse:
Buyer's Remorse is a short story published in the Heroes and Monsters Collection.
Featuring the Twelfth Doctor.
Not bad story involving the Doctor shopping and the Blathereen.

Dark Eyes 4: The Monster of Montmartre:
Second episode of Dark Eyes 4.
Written by Matt Fitton.
Guest stars Rachael Stirling (The Crimson Horror).
The Doctor and Liv are in Paris to locate the missing TARDIS and they meet Adelaine Dutemps (Stirling) and hear about the said monster,
Stirling played Adelaine Dutemps as an intriguing and was certainly shocking on who her husband turned out to be.
There was a certain moment that seemed to emulate to one in The Next Doctor as it is something that can't be ignored.

A fascinating entry for Dark Eyes and as I knew the title of the next episode it did not surprised me who turned up at the end but what an entrance that he made.

The Dogstar season 2 opener Public Enemy Number One sees the Clark clan on a new mission to find the Dogstar.
In reaction to this Glenn (Brandon Burns) said “ I don’t want to go”.

This came in 2011 the year after the Tenth Doctor said those same words as his last words in The End of Time.
