Weather and Rainfall
Hi Guys,
Whats the weather like around Lae, Salamanua and in the Stanley Ranges around March and early April? Ate the rivers able to be crossed along the Black Cat track during these months? Cheers Matt |

Thanks mate,
Does that include the trip from Salamaua back to Lae? Do they pick up bananas from Salamaua? If so, are they likely to have room for 3 intrepid travellers? We'd be likely to be travelling back to Lae on the Friday afternoon or Sat morning. |

Banana boats dont really carry bananas (well some time!). there a class of fiberglass boat generally about 23 ft long with 40-70HP out board.
K20 one way, and they come almost as frequently as they leave (well a few sink!) just pick one that looks in good nick.
