I lived at Soger High School in the late 1950s and early 1960s. My father David Powys was deputy principal there. Have never been back and have lived in Sydney since 1964. Would be interested in making contact with anyone who lived in the Sogeri area.

Requesting information

Hi!I`m interested in Sogeri National High School.I hear that it`s one of the Schools of Excellence.I would like to know some information about the school. Are all students boarding or some are day-students?What facilities does the school have? How far is the school from Port Moresby? Were there any recent developments in the school?I appreciate any response from the students!

Hi my name is Heather Newnham. I also lived at Sogeri High in 1955-57. Dad was on the staff.

However, I'm trying to trace a girl called Heather who went to Sogeri National High around 1984/86. Her mother, Matamuki, was from Mumeng in Morobe District. Her father was Aussie. Unfortunately, I don't know what family name she went by. Her grandfather's name was Mikel. Can anyone help me out??
