We have just retured from 3 years in Moresby - that is mum dad, 3 kids, and rate it the best three years of our life thus far. The best time to go is with small kids. Its very different from Oz - but in manyways its better. We loved it, mad great friends, saw stunning places and really enjoyed life. Cheers |

I see. Thanks for that.
If I go it'll be to fly for a small airline over there based in P.M. Wasnt it voted in 2004 as the most dangerous place to live? Whats the deal with banks, food etc overthere. Can you just walk around during the day without any problems? Is it full of mosketos and stuff too? (I dont wanna catch anything nasty)Cheers

Gday Mate
Hi I have only been here for 8 weeks but it truly is the best country in the world. As far as going out is concerned i feel far safer here than i do back in NSW. It does take some getting used to being surounded by nationals but they truly are great people and once they get to know you they really look after you. Dont be afraid to go out of the city either there is a lot of good scenery to be had. I think all the bad stories are mainly made up by all the expats so that no one else comes here and spoils it. You will have a great time here for sure
