An improved telecommunications infrastructure like Broadband within the country will increase the potential for VOIP services which will cost cheaper than landlines and mobiles. This will definitely mean the rise in usage of VOIP services like Skype.

All I'm saying is that Telkom being the monopoly that they have been, coupled with the fact that they have already taken political and legal measures to protect themselves against Digicel, they will no doubt in my mind try to prevent further erosion to call revenues through a company they have already hired to suuply to them and who has first hand experience in blocking Skype in China.

All I'm saying is that the potential is there and to be aware of it, that's all. If it doesn't happen well all the better for us.
