Red Dot – 24 hours road side services for Port Moresby launched
 

A 24 hour roadside service which will cater for almost your every road side security needs has been launched two weeks ago at the Hideaway Motel in Port Moresby.

Namely the Red Dot 24 Hour Road Side Service – the company provides car rescue service, a guaranteed security service as well as help in the event of mechanical or electrical failure of vehicles.

During the Launching at the Hideaway Motel Conference Room - May 13.

Chauffer services, Mobile Service, Fuel Shortage Rescue, Flat Tyre Rescue, Locksmith Assistance and Towing within and outside city limits are also provided. These services will be available only in Port Moresby.

24 hour service vehicles including quick-fix car equipment, and others are now available from Goroa Street at Gordons – the company’s official location.

Red Dot Services is 100 per cent PNG owned. Founded by former PNG Defence Force Commander Jerry Singirok, the company consists of very qualified team which ranges from professional mechanics, IT professionals, well-trained security guards with well established networks within city areas and outside.

The Management Team consist of Mr Singirok himself, as the Managing Director, Mr Sip Kasu as the Service Manager, Cyprian Dademo as Assistant Service Manager and Helen Aila as the Finance Administrator. Except for Mrs Aila, Mr. Kasu and Mr.Dademo are ex-soldiers with PNGDF.

The launched was commissioned by the Deputy Secretary for Department of Road Transport Lister Heni and witnessed by the management and staff of the Red Dot Services, and the representatives from several companies who supported their services.

“Red Dot Services is well position service recovery, company fully registered with IPA. We see our concept as more relevant to Port Moresby because of the environment.

Car thefts, harassments, abductions, and especially get away vehicle are common sights in our city,” Mr Singirok said when presenting the company’s services.

Mr Singirok highlighted that the company’s priorities were the safety of vehicle owner/driver, quick and reliable response and dispatch of service team to the site.

The security officials are licensed to carry guns with them during the time of service.
The vehicles or the company can be identified by a red dot. According to Mr Singirok the colour red signifies military connotations. Each service car will have a red dot sticker on them to identify with and the service team, security officers will be in full uniforms

The service is officially open now and the service team plus the services is on stand by 24 hours a day.
