Great memories of Lae TPNG

Just spent a great hour revisiting Lae through Wendys photographs.

We lived in Lae from 1960 to 1964 I worked for Mandated Airlines / Ansett Mandated as an aircraft engineer. My wife worked for Mobil Oil & later the District Commissioner as a secretary. Best wishes to all John & Jan Bridge.

A Bit Sad

Hi,
I visited Lae for the first time this year since leaving in 1976. It was sad to see how much the town has deteriorated.

I haven't been back since 1976! I'd love to take my kids. They have no idea how much fun we had growing up there.
