Graphic Design & Advertising in PNG

We have a post elsewhere about hopefully moving to PNG at the end of the year if my wife is succeful in obtaining a position with the IEA.

I am currently managing partner of a design agency here in cairo and we do a lot of work with international agencies/companies as well as local (Egyptian) businesses.

Does anyone have an opinion on whether there is a business opportunity for a good design agency in PNG? Locally priced, sensitive, time/client oriented?

I dont seem to be able to find any graphic design/advertising offices at all in PNG but surely there must be some, or does it all go to Aus?

Any comments/info much appreciated

There are some here, the most popular perhaps are:

- Pacific Multimedia
- HRD Savvy
I think there's Saatchi & Saatchi agent in PNG (or is it Australia?)

I'm sure there are others too.

Some more competition would be good to improve the quality here
