MONEY SHOW :

The 2nd Papua New Guinea Money Show, will be held at the Holiday Inn, Port Moresby on Thursday 26th June and Friday 27th June 2003.

The Money Show is organised by the Port Moresby Stock Exchange (POMSoX), the Port Moresby Chamber of Commerce & Industry (POMCCI), with the support of Kina Securities, Capital Stockbrokers and AUSTRADE.

The objective and purpose of the event, which has the theme "Your money, Your future" is to;

promote investment in PNG,
encourage capital market development
educate Papua New Guineans on the benefits of investing in public companies
effect linkages with the banking and finance sector so as to stimulate investment
continue to enhance the profile of the listed companies and provide them with an opportunity to show case their companies as safe, viable and profitable investment opportunities
provide an opportunity for the business sector in PNG to promote its goods and services
convince local and international companies to list and raise capital in PNG through POMSoX.


The event will consist of a Seminar & Exhibition:

Seminar - 26th June 2003, Holiday Inn Ballroom Port Moresby, 9am 12pm
Exhibition 27th June 2003, Holiday Inn Ballroom Port Moresby, 9am 4pm



The Prime Minister, Right Honourable Sir Michael Somare, will deliver the keynote address. The program also includes the eminent Australian financial commentator Michael Pascoe.
