Interested in residential rentals in Alotau

Hi,

My husband and I are possibly looking at moving up to Alotau from Australia in the next few months and I know nothing about the area whatsoever. We would be looking for a rental property to love in, 2 or more bedrooms and that can accept dogs. Does anyone know if there are many rentals in the area up there? Or what price range you are looking at for something of this description?

And if anyone comes from the area, can you tell me what prices are like for food, fuel etc. as again -- I have NO idea. :confused:
