Ted Diro Community School

Ted Diro Community School was a very lucky school in the National Capital District in which the War Veterans chose to visit for a luncheon stop over after a visit to the Oro and Alotau Provinces.

The school children were very excited to meet and shake hands with the War Veterans who took the time to pay a visit to their school. Among them were the minister for Australia War Veterans Ms Dana Vale :

All War Veterans and Ms Dana Vale, were greeted warmly and Frangipani flowers were placed around their neck.

[aussie]

In return, the World War II Veterans, gave lollies, books and pens for the school children.

[aussie]
