Bovo early to mid 80's

Hey All,

Anyone around that went to Bovo from early to mid 80's?

Found some old Bovo school books the other week and had some great memories of Damian Gilbert, Sasha Skyrme, Jeremy Fletcher, Troy, Jonathan Gittens, Louise Bobbermein, Jamie Rutana, Simon Rogers, Daisy, Jason Kauva, and more.

I plan to go back to Bougainville as soon as I can and see how it is now - although a mate that flew helicopters for the army a few years ago while on peacekeeping missions took photos and it wasn't too good.

Planning a surf trip to PNG soon, so if anyone surfs and is interested, or you know some good contacts for getting around up there these days, be good to talk to you.

Be great to hear from anyone that has email contacts for anyone else too.

My kids went to Bovo in the 80's.

Have a look at the Calling Ex-Bougainvillians (http://www.pngbd.com/forum/showthread.php?t=21759) thread in this forum as they have been talking about a reunion at the BCL Reunion in May
