Recently returned from a great trip to PNG. In Goroka we met up with Caspar, an excellent guide, who took us to Mt Wilhelm base camp via Kundiawa. We had no intention of climbing the mountain, the trip to the base camp was enough. Great views of flora and fauna.
Caspars Guide Service can show you around Goroka or take you to Mt Wilhelm for a very reasonable fee. He has lots of good contacts in Simbu and can organise everything from transport to accommodation, food, and carriers. We travelled by PMV, which was a great experience and also kept the cost down.
