Goroka. Still The Best..

I COMPLETED MY SCHOOLING IN GOROKA, WEST GKA,AND GKA HIGH SCHOOL 84-87..AND I CAN SAY I HAVE BEEN PREVILIDGED TO HAVE LIVED IN ONE OF THE BEST CLIMATES IN THE WORLD...THE FOOD..IT WAS GOD SEND...AND I STILL HAVE A LOT OF FOND MEMORIES OF THE PLACE..I MOVED ON AFTER SCHOOL,BUT MY PARENTS LIVED THERE FOR A WHILE,FINALLY MOVING ON IN 97..

Good to see that Goroka still holds a heart or two! I was resident as a child from 66 to 72. Lived opposite the High School also, in front of the then Highland News newspaper building, is it still there? Look forward to your reply,

The big building is in the National sports institue opposite the school soccer field, yes its still there , it was turned into a movie theatre in the 80s. at present i dont know if its still there or if its being used for anything else.
