Checkout Madang Real Estate. They are good and the person in charge is Mike Cassell. FYI, the expectations of a cash boom in Madang due to the Ramu Nickel project has inflated most property values.

Are there other means of getting in touch with persons interested in selling land?

What about the department of lands; would they be approachable and how easy is it to negotiate with the state?

I am unsure as to whether Madang Real Estate has a website or not. Try www.madanglodge.com.pg and enquire with Diane Cassell the contact details. As for the state, you can give it a try but my best bet is dealing with Mike Cassell.
