My wife and I are considering moving to Lae on a large construction project. We are early-30s, with two daughters 5 and 7 who would probably be in an international school. We haven't lived and worked abroad previously. On the basis of anecdotes, we're a bit concerned about security, education standards and race relations - but basically we don't have any information yet, and would be very grateful for any firsthand accounts before we make the decision to move or not. We'd also be interested to hear what kind of employment prospects there might be for my wife - say in early childhood education or beauty therapy - or if she will need to work at all! Any advice appreciated
