Home Loan Competition with Banks????

Are there other organisations in PNG apart from the Bank that offers Home Loans to local PNG people? I am interested to know!!!!!

Coz, the interest with the bank loans are 'so dear' around 16% compare. Can the government do something about this so simple PNG people can be able to purchase their own homes instead of renting their entire lives.

Hi there meripng... I just looked in this sites business directory.....and there are alternatives, but mainly for Police or teachers. Not for the average grass roots person I'm afraid. Other nearby countries have 'Building Societies' where once you have saved
for a while and proven that you can save a reasonable amount, you can apply for a loan....but I couldn't find anything like that for PNG. Sori tru.
